We walked through the yellow doors of Weslodge, we were amazed by the ‘rock and roll’ chic décor and the
amazing view of Dubai. A casually refined saloon from Toronto, it is buzzing in the evenings with residents and hotel
guests.
The creatively cool setting is elegant and modern. The overall vibe is derived from the concept of ‘dare to be different’
and the menu explores American cuisine through a modern and boundless lens.
We started with the tasty Weslodge Chop Salad-avocado and feta dressed in a light vinaigrette. Our order of the Ahi
Tuna Ceviche came with avocado and celery and a generous serving of sesame crackers. The trio of Baja  tacos
were a generous portion of crispy batter fried fish with a tangy sauce and crunchy cabbage.
In the mains the burrata truffle risotto was flavourful and our sides of the grilled asparagus and their version of
poutine were both delicious also. The fried chicken is a house specialty and it was exactly what it promised to be and
much more.
The baked brownie dessert topped with ice cream was definitely excessive but totally worth the calories.
With 360 degree, awe-inspiring, views of Dubai and a rugged yet refined North American fare, it is the perfect place
to invite friends from out of town. Oh, and there is also a live music and dance show that will keep you entertained.
With good food and a live show, an evening at Weslodge will be a late night affair for sure!
